Research About The Core Competence Strategy Of Technology Enterprises

With the economic globalization's speeding-up, the core competence of the enterprise becomes the focus of market competition. The core competence is the integration of enterprise skills and operation mechanism, and the organic combination of technology systems, management systems, and enterprise skills. The core competence is also the combination of the competition ability and the operation advantage of an enterprise in a certain market environment. The key of the core competence of the technology enterprise is knowledge, technology, and the ability to industrialize knowledge.The thesis completely analyzed the actual situations and development processes of the core competences of small-middle sized technology enterprise Hai Chuan and large-sized technology enterprise Hua Xin. The thesis pointed out that developing core competence is the key for technology enterprise to gain competition advantage, and that different enterprises should build up their core competence, based on the different features of enterprises. According to the different disadvantages of the two enterprises, solutions were brought about respectively to help enterprises build up the core competences.The core competence of Hai Chuan is the ability of technical innovation. To strengthen the ability of technical innovation, the duty of project managers were turned into the main line of the enterprise operation, surrounded by the seven main departments of the enterprise, through the redesign of organization structure. The core competence was further strengthened by the strategic investment on supportive infrastructure. Hai Chuan needs to improve its market system and enterprise culture to strengthen its core competence.The core competence of Hua Xin is the ability to industrialize technology. Hua Xin turned knowledge into industry through its sole technology-industrializing mode, and strengthened this mode through capital operation, management innovation, technology innovation, and market development etc. To further strengthen its core competence, Hua Xin need to improve the relation between Hua Xin and its son companies, the motivation mechanism to managers, and the product development system.Pushed ahead by the tide of the integration, information and internationalization of the world, technology enterprises are facing excellent developing chance and challenge co-existed, how to keep the competition advantage and bring about technology enterprises continuous development is the most important to technology enterprises. I devoutly hope that this thesis will give a hand to technology enterprises' development.
