A Study Of Method And Application Of BPR Based On Value Chain

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) has been considered a way to improve core capability of competition for many corporations recently. But BPR has been not formed the standardized technology. So the method of BPR becomes the focus point that the academia and business circles care together. This paper analyzed the relations between business process and value chain and proposed the process model of BPR based on value chain.This model includes three parts mainly: Business Process Describing, Business Process Analysis and Business Process Redesign. In first part, it explains the process of business research and process chart drawing and proposes the discerned approach of value chain facing shareholders. In second part, a evaluated approach about value-added capability and reengineering difficulty of business process is proposed based on the analytic system of business process. In third one, the importance is emphasized to think over the result of adjusting value chain hi course of redesign the processes.At last, the method is applied to reengineer the quality management process of ZR corporation.
