Utilizing land resources reasonably, in our country, is a basic national policy and basic conditions to society development. And it is important to the development of society and to the national economy and people's livelihood. In Shandong Province, which have a large population but few land comparatively, is lack of land resources. The cultivated land resources are decreasing little by little, and the quantity and quality of kinds of land resource are not clear in a long period, which have affected the production of agriculture and the steady development of the whole country's economy. Therefore, the study of land resources optimal allocation, which focus on land resources spatial distribution, based on land resources spatial suitability, is important for the regional land use planning and corresponding land use policy and measure establishment.Taking Shandong province as research objects, the results of land suitability assessment as basis, the spatial analysis of land resources as breakthrough approach, the optimal allocation of land resources was studied according to the spatial distributing characteristics and suitable results of land resources. With the particular superiority of Geographic Information System (GIS) to analyze and manage geographic (spatial) information, this thesis studied the regional spatial pattern, synthetical suitability index, the synthetical suitable degree and relative suitable degree of land resources. The diversity and important value of unsuitable land resources was analyzed through spatial incorporation of the suitability evaluation map and the current land use map. Using GIS's spatial cartographic and analytic function, the results was expressed and analyzed synthetically.The results show that the agriculture-suitability land resources primarily distributed in the southwest, northwest and JiaoLai river which in the middle of eastern massif and JiaoDong highlands; forest and herd-suitability land resources primarily distributed in the central southern mountainous, eastern highlands and Yellow River Delta; other-suitability land resources primarily distributed in the Yellow River Delta, kiaochow bay seacoast and southeast seacoast of peninsula.From the results of spatial pattern of land resources in Shandong province and each county (municipal, area), we can see the distribution of diversity index, uniformity index, dominance index, and fragmentation index present some regularity. The diversity index and dominance index seems to be contrary to each other; some regions, where diversity index and dominance index are showed in the midst degree, generally have higher uniformity index value; There are a higher diversity and fragmentation index value and a lower dominance index value of land resources in Mountainous regions and seaside regions; The diversity and fragmentation indexes are low in most southwest and northwest regions which locate in the plain areas; The uniformity and fragmentation indexes are comparatively low in the regions where the human activities are either weakest or strongest.From the results of synthetical suitability index of land resources in Shandong Province, we can discover that counties (municipals, regions) which hold the A rank primarily distributed in the plain hypsography of western, northern and JiaoLai river drainage basin; The B rank primarily distributed in the central low mountains and JiaoDong highlands; The C rank primarily distributed in JiaoDong highlands and Yellow River Delta.Analyzing the synthetical suitable degree and the relative suitable degree of land resources in Shandong Province, we can discover the synthetical 4 山东农业大学硕士学位论...
