With the acceleration of economic globlization ,the purchasing globlization of automobile parts is becoming the necessitous trend of automobile manufacture industry .From accessing to the WTO in 2001,Chinese automobile industry had been brought into the international distribution rapidly . Chinese motor spare parts enterprises meet new development opportunity. Meanwhile, following the canceled and weaken of tariff and non-tariff wall, the motor's parts market boundary between domestic and international is very weak .The domestic enterprises are forced to take part in the international competition. Under the information background, the researching model, producing model and logistic model of motor & engine manufacturing having been changed enormously .In order to meet the demands of main engine manufacture enterprises ,the application of information technique is getting more and more important in the manufacture enterprise administration.Chongqing Changjiang Izumi Piston Industries CO.,Ltd is a joint company between Chinese and Japanese enterprises which go in for researching , producing and selling pistons .It was one of the models which imported the advanced technique and management from foreign countries to improve the enterprise's competitive capability in Chongqing in 1990's ,this enterprise has strong competitive capability in piston industry in China at present .How to acquire and maintain the competitive advantage in this enormous changing industry environment is the important strategy problem which the enterprise has to face .The paper has a special study on the development strategy of Chongqing Changjiang Izumi piston Industries CO.,Ltd. At first reviewing the history of strategy management; On the basis of analyzing the external environment and industry competition situation of this enterprise and analyzing its advantages and disadvantages . internal abilities ,thepaper points out the suitable development strategy for this enterprise--the single-cropfarming strategy concentrating its attention on piston's research and development producing and selling ; It should take advantage of established market network and good reputation on brand and select the style of initiative attack market leader strategy as its basic strategy; Meanwhile ,it suggests that the enterprise should cultivate its own new core competence in the field of the piston's researching & designing rely on Japanese and German technique ; According to the specific product's marketing status, it shouldacquire and maintain competitive advantages by adopting the low cost strategy and differentia strategy on the different products ; Quicken the product configuration adjustment ,enlarge the productivity of diesel oil piston ; It should establish strategy cooperation partnership with those strong domestic and foreign main engine manufacture enterprises .Finally, the paper gives suggestions on organization structure system innovation, human resource management and exploitation, market management, quality management, information construction in the course of the enterprise strategy being implemented.
