The knowledge management (hereinafter called KM) gradually becomes the hot topic of enterprises. As a management theory, KM is described in this article.The KM may divide into five big modules, its model is: KM=(P+K)S Among this model, P represents "the people", K represents "the knowledge", "+"represents "the technology", S represents "sharing", "="represents "the process and the step".First, only the enterprise in the choosing, using, training, remaining and promoting with ideology of KM, can them follow the step of time. Second, the recessive knowledge is suitable to personal strategy; the dominant knowledge is suitable to code strategy. Carrying out KM is to follow knowledge movement principles and to take the measure to impel the shifting of the knowledge. Third, many specialized technology tool have been developed for KM. The BLOG technology is one kind of non-specialized KM technology.Fourth, enterprises should set up intelligence property system to the individuals and establish knowledge operation mechanism, verification mechanism and rewards and punishment mechanism in order to guarantee the power of knowledge exponential increasing.Finally, after preparation, pushing and maintain stage, the KM program will be completed.?The ultimate objective of KM is to establish study organization, in order to enhance core competitive ability of enterprises. KM causes the organization flat, internal personnel's promotion becomes difficult; and, KM has the possibility to become a tool of minority persons to control some company. These questions are all to be considered in the future.The coordination commerce is likely to be the next hot topic after KM.The china ocean shipping agency Tianjin has successfully completed KM according to the five disciplines above.
