This article is the investigation to the relation between state enterprise spiritual motivation and enterprise staff's satisfactory index. Its purpose is to know the circumstance of some state enterprises spiritual motivation, enterprise staff's satisfactory index to it, and the structure of staff's spiritual requirement, to service human resource development and management.Its main content includes: 1 warranty of the study ; 2 Summary of literature; 3 Connected concepts and their relation in this study; 4 investigative process, analysis and discussion; 5 conclusion; 6 suggestion and antidote.This study investigated three hundred and thirty-seven state enterprise staff of Shandong and Guizhou province through questionnaire investigation, then analyzed their satisfactory index of spiritual motivation through SPSS 11.0 .The results showed : 1 Their satisfactory index of spiritual motivation was low (the score was 57.96) ; 2 Their satisfactory index of spiritual motivation had no difference between different districts and different positions ; 3 A little difference between different trades and different schooling records; 4 Much difference between sexes , and between working years ; 5 The staff had higher satisfactory index in object motivation , honor motivation , emotion motivation , behaviorculture motivation , institution culture motivation and deep-seated culture motivation(the average score was 62.48); And lower satisfactory index in example motivation, surface culture motivation, training motivation, participation motivation, advancing motivation, personal maturing and developing motivation (the average score was 53.74); 6 From the factor analysis ,we know , this study mainly examined five factors, they can resolve 86.4% of the score differences. Range from intensity they are factor staff emotion factor enterprise atmosphere factor enterprise management factor staff success and factor staff honor.From the investigation, we know the state enterprise staff's spiritual motivation index is low. It shows there is some scarcity in spiritual motivation, the staff's spiritual requirement hasn't been enough supplied, this must affect their working activeness, driving and creating, affect the enterprise development. The managers must constitute responsible and effective spiritual motivation measures, satisfy staff's spiritual requirement indeed, motivate them basically, develop their potency and achieve the collective development of the enterprise and the staff.
