Study On The Structure And Motive Power Of Development Of Shandong Peninsula Urban Agglomerations

In the objective development condition of economic globalization and regional unifmication, the importance of city is promoted continuously in area. There are two tendencies in the development of city in presence, referring to global angle, they are global urbanization and city globalization, and referring to the direction of regional development, they are city regional and regional urbanization. Complying with these tendencies, urban agglomerations become to study the one of focus.The thesis have analyzed the intension of urban agglomerations, and on the foundation of limiting the research area of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations scientifically, the author studies structure and the power of development of peninsula urban agglomerations with the qualitative and quantitative methods. The thesis also makes analysis of the development tendency of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations, and finally proposes 5 suggestions on how to stabilize and develop Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations smoothly. The thesis is composed of four parts.The first part is the introduction. This part consists of four parts, which are the researching actuality of the urban agglomerations, urban agglomeration's meaning, definition of the studied area, and the significance and the purpose of the thesis. I It is key to analyze to summarize the intension of urban agglomeration's meaning, and on this foundation, the area for the thesis researching carries out to determine, and then and then the researching purpose are fixed.The second part deals with the structure of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations, which consists of space-time structure and scale structural, function structure. In this part, author makes it clear of the development historical and space state of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations, and analyzes the scale structural with syntheses methods. Taking the urban_basic economic activities as the confirming basic of the urban function, using methods of factor-analysis and multiple-variable classification, the author gives function classification to Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations.The third part is the study on the power of development of Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations.The factors that affect urban agglomerations are complex and various. Author induces four kinds of motive power factors: natural motive power, benefits motive force and history inherit force and policy motive power.The forth part of the thesis is research on development tendency of Shandong peninsulaurban agglomerations with the qualitative and quantitative methods and suggestions on how to stabilize and develop it smoothly. And it can get deeper comprehending to the Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations, and it can provide new thought for the coordinative and healthy development of the Shandong peninsula urban agglomerations and Shandong province in the future.
