Along with the economic integration of the world and the internationalization of competitions,more and more large-size enterprises begin to arise in China. After the expansion from the individual enterprises to group enterprise (hereinafter called the Group),the management mode of these originally individual enterprises can no longer suit the needs of efficient control, as the management magnitude increases. Therefore, in order to achieve further development, the attention of the mother companies begins to turn to the realization of the efficient operation and the high-profit management within the Group through efficient supervision and stimulations.Based on the need mentioned above, the establishment of a performance evaluation system, which may be used by the mother company to evaluate the performance of its subsidiary companies (or strategic business units), and to provide the support and control information for the its strategic management, has become an important problem in the management of the Group.Aiming at the problem that how to link performance management with strategy, theories of strategic management, strategic human resources management and performance management were used,and following work has been done:The relation between performance management and strategy management of the Group was analyzed. So it is necessary to set up strategy-oriented performance management model. The elements and their relationship strategy-oriented performance management model were studied and shown in the thesis. The strategy-oriented PM model was set up on the basis of former theory of comprehensive performance management.In this thesis,JinBin Development Co. is taken for example and the actualization methods of key elements of this model were studied,including performance objective planning, individual development plan set-up, performance doing and monitoring, performance appraisal, performance feedback,and reward and performance obstacle analysis. So the guidance is given for the practice of the strategy-oriented performance management.
