With the realization of global market and acceleration of technological changes, market competition is more and more severe. Enterprises face the pressure of shortening the delivery time, advancing the quality, reducing the cost and improving the service. The time of the cooperative competition is coming, the boundary of the international competition is disappearing and the trend of penetration between enterprises is more and more clear; so, competition exists not only between enterprises, but also between the supply chains. All these require the enterprises not only to optimize their internal operations, but also to coordinate the relationship with other members of the supply chain; logistics coordination is one important part of it.Firstly, this thesis introduces several basic concepts of supply chain logistics coordination, which primarily include interdependence, coordination and coordination mechanism. Moreover, it classifies the interdependences of the supply chain logistics activities, analyses the difference and relation between logistics coordination, logistics cooperation and logistics information communication, and emphasizes the importance and complexity of coordinating logistics in supply chain management. Secondly, the thesis analyses the following four coordination mechanisms respectively: hierarchy, market, network and standardization, and studies their applications in supply chain logistics coordination, which is exactly the most emphasis and achievement of the thesis. Finally, it analyzes characteristics of four coordination mechanisms, including coordination base, coordination cost and coordination means, and so on, and makes a comparison for them in order to provide a certain support for decision of supply chain logistics coordination mechanisms.
