The Romance of the Three Kingdoms(ROTK) is one of the several most outstanding historical romance novels in history of our country. There is very great research value in such aspects as literature, art, management, military, and diplomacy. In the field of management, the ROTK has abundant value in talent studies. Its philosophy for using manpower can be rated as classics in ancient China. In order to find its quintessence to guide our country's talent theory construction and manpower resources management, this thesis researches into the talent studies of the ROTK. This thesis is divided into four parts: Chapter one: The ROTK's value in talent studies. After exploring the reason that our country's talents lose at present, this chapter points out of our country's enterprises the defect existing at management idea and management mode of talent, and then put forward the suggestion to find inspiration from the ROTK. It analyses the value in talent studies of the ROTK and confirms the thesis guiding ideology to research into the ROTK. Chapter two: Human-oriented talent view and its enlighten to modern enterprises. This chapter states historical facts that the talents were pay attention to, then analyses the reason that the author created to the Three Kingdoms history synthetically. On this basis, I propose a standpoint that the talent view of the POTK is a human-oriented talent view. Next, the thesis analyses the modern meaning of the human-oriented ideology and the intension of this kind of human-oriented talent view. And then make two suggestions to our country's modern enterprises to set up human-oriented talent view. Chapter three: The choosing-talent thoughts of the ROTK and its inspiration to modern enterprises. This chapter explains the choosing-talent thoughts that the ability and political integrity regarded as equally important, another thoughts which selects talent only by the standard of ability. And points out the characteristic of the two thoughts. Then advocate unifying the two thoughts dialectically to establishment the choosing-talent thought of modern enterprises. Finally point out the principle the modern enterprises should insist when choosing talent. The last chapter: The philosophy for using manpower of the ROTK and its enlighten to modern enterprises. This chapter analyses the philosophy for using manpower of the ROTK and then gives three suggestions about how to use manpower to our country's modern enterprises.
