The Analysis Of The Relationship Between The Urbanization And The Industrialization In China On The Basis Of Market Institution

The issue of the urbanization and industrialization in China has got much concern in the academia these years, and extensive literature has been published. However, hardly anybody studied the issue on the basis of market institution. This paper takes "the Analysis of the Relationship between the Urbanization and the Industrial ization in China on the Basis of Market Institution" as the title, aiming to approach the relationship between the urbanization and the industrialization in different market institution conditions. After analyzing the urbanization and the industrialization in different market institution conditions, the paper summarizes that: urbanization is the result of marketing, and the development of market promotes industrialization, thus promotes urbanization, only when urbanization and industrialization synchronize with market, can urbanization and industrialization develop synchronously.The paper's outline as fellow: Chapter I is introduction, which mainly expounds the practical meaning and the theoretical meaning, and presents the train of thought, the outline and the innovations. Chapter II deals with the concepts on urbanization and industrialization, the review of relevant theories, and shows the main contribution and defects of the provided literatures. Chapter III focuses on the theoretical analysis of the relationship between the urbanization and the industrialization on the basis of market institution. Analyzing the different relationship between urbanization and industrialization under three kinds of market system conditions, that is: urbanization synchronizes with industrialization under the perfect market institution condition; urbanization outstrips industrialization under the un-perfect market institution condition; under planned economy system condition urbanization lags behind industrialization. Chapter IV highlight market system positive analysis on the relationship between the urbanization and the industrialization. The chapter has two parts: Part One studies the status of the urbanization and the industrialization of China in the traditional period. The development of the urbanization and the industrialization did not cohere with each other, and the urbanization lagged behind the industrialization seriously at that time. Part Two studies the status of the urbanization and the industrialization of China in the transitional period. Owning to the establishment and improvement of market institution, the gap between the urbanization and the industrialization is narrowing and getting synchronized.The epilogue briefly offers some concluding thoughts on this paper. The market institution of government as the leading factor should be established and perfected to promote the coordinated growth of the urbanization and the industrialization as soon as possible.
