The development and application of E-Commerce has been taking great changes, which has changed the modes of business operation of enterprises, and been promoting the redistribution of the global strategic resources and competition advantages. The competition is shifting from between enterprises to among supply chains or coalitions of companies. To obtain competition advantage, enterprises will pay more attention to division of labor and coordination of work. Under the environment of E-Commerce, interorganizational business processes become the foundation of organizations' survival and development. This paper is on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the current situation of domestic and international researches and achievements, subsequently investigates the interorganizational business process redesign and evaluation in E-Commerce, and gains some helpful outcomes. This paper has explained interorganizational relationships formation motivations from six domains i.e. transaction costs economics, resource dependency, strategic choice, et al, then upbuilt the integration framework of interorganizational business processes' origin, which can offer decision supports for enterprises participating in interorganizational relationships and constructuring interorganizational business processes. This paper has farther described the mechanism that E-Commerce influences business processes. proposed the relation model between the application levels of E-Commerce and BPR types, has pointed out the important position that interorganizational business process reengineering in E-Commerce application, which can provide the foundation for the interorganizational business process redesign. Seeing that complexity of the process coordination and the customer's important status in E-Commerce environment, coordination theory and customer-oriented idea is absorbed in the interorganizational business process redesign. This paper has analysed comprehensively the interorganizational interdependencies, has set up corresponding mathematics models. Based on the research results of coordination theory, this paper has expanded traditional coordination theory, has adopted role-focused method to analyze and design interorganizational business processes, has chosen coordination elements with task and resource according to the organization coordination framework, has proposed a coordination theory approach to interorganizational business process analysis and redesign and finally given an application case. Furthermore, this paper has put the customer-oriented idea into interorganizational business process redesign, further investigated the relationships among the customer's purchasing standards, enterprise's decision factors and enterprise's business processes, has put forward five negative course indexes of process performance and fourteen process inproving principles, also has put forward concrete and easy to operate interorganizational business process improvement procedure, and optimized the outcome of the case after applying coordination theory, as supplement of the coordination theory approach to interorganizational business process redesign. Finally, based on the method of performance of activity, this paper has built the performance evaluation index system for interorganizational business process. In order to realize individual index evaluation, this paper has put forward a simulation method based on advanced Petri net, have set up the process model (PNPM) which is suitable for interorganizational business process characteristics in E-Commerce. In order to solve the problem of selecting the superior from multiple design plans, this paper has analyzed how to use DEA method for the comprehensive evaluation of interorganizational business process design plans.
