Juvenile Offenders Community Correction Mode Research In China

With the continual rise in juvenile delinquency, putting juvenile offenders to prison based on the traditional way of correction have gradually exposed its own shortcomings. How to better prevent and control juvenile delinquency has become a problem in the face of the state and society. As a correction which can play its effective role in many countries of the world, whether community correction can play its effective role has been a problem many scholars concerned.This paper linked the high incidence of juvenile delinquency situation, analyzed the shortcomings of traditional way of correction, proved the necessity and feasibility of juvenile offenders community correction ;and put forward problems that exists in juvenile offenders community correction in China, learn from the successful experience of juvenile offenders community correction , put forward a concept of juvenile offenders community correction in China.This paper is divided into six parts.1 Introduction. The part introduced reason and purpose of choosing the subject of the study of juvenile offenders community correction in China. And the part also introduced the situation of the study of juvenile offenders community correction.2 The Concept and Theoretical Basis of Juvenile Offenders Community Correction . The part put forward the concept of juvenile offenders community correction through defining the concept of juvenile offenders. The part put forward the target of juvenile offenders community correction is "juvenile offenders in accordance with the statutory requirements", the subject is "national jurisdiction", the nature of juvenile offenders community correction is "punishment activities".
