On The Training Mechanism Of Chinese Juris Master

The education of Juris Master(JM) Professional Degree has acquired great achievement since its trial implementation in 1996. But the blind expansion of the JM education, the increase of the trial major, the lack of responsibility during the training course of the JM education and the appearance of all kinds of JM education in a short time have caused the big gap between the ideal and reality of the JM education. The education of law is important to the future of the countries ruled by law. The reform and perfection of the JM education has been the important angle of the study of Chinese education of law.The existence of JM education has been the reality now. We should not confine our discussion to the existing necessity of the JM education, and it is more practical and targeted to concern the reform of the JM education. This is the main attitude we treat the JM education.Acquiring an better understanding to the JM education from the institutional level is the main start point to the study of the reform and perfection to the JM education. The thesis considers that"interdisciplinary, practical, high level"and their internal requirements are the"Spiritual Core"of the JM education. In order to achieve these aims design in the institution, it requires the coherence and coordination of the curriculum, the style of teaching and the graduation paper.Contrasting the institutional requirements of the JM education with its practical reality, the desired effect of the JM education did not emerge. The study shows that there are reasons caused the problems that the JM education can not achieve the desired aim. They include the absence of the education idea, the lack of scientific in the training scheme, the approaching to the Master of laws in the training styles, the infection of quality guaranteeing system in the JM education.The key to perfect the JM education is to construct a training system of the JM which coordinates with the institutional aims. Creating new idea of the JM education is the guidance to perfect the training system of the JM education; reforming the entering and exam system of the JM education is the premise to perfect the training system of the JM education; perfecting the training courses specifically is the core of the training system reform for the JM education; establishing the organization system is the key to perfect the training system of the JM education; establishing the evaluating system for the JM education is the focus to perfect the JM education; adopting the foreign advanced experiences is the referring angle to the perfection of the JM education.
