The Transform Of The Household Register System In The Process Of China Urbanization

Urbanization is the inevitable trend of our society economy development, and it is also the important symbol of the society development level in a country or an area. Currently, it is an important development stratagem to expedite our urbanization process and plan the urban and rural development as a whole. An index of judging the speed of urbanization is the rate of urban population in the whole social population. But in a long term, the current household register system restricts the migration from rural areas to urban areas.The household register system as a kind of complex society system, it relates to the rights and interests relation between the country and society, country and individual, urban area and rural area. In the process of economy conversion and society transform, some former economy and society systems are undergoing sharp vicissitude, and some certain transforms are need exigently.Currently, our country urbanization process is undergoing a new moment. Herein, to concern the active household register system controls the move from rural areas to urban areas directly and it is considered as the main obstacle in the process of our urbanization, I analyze the history and the practice of our active household register system and urbanization policies comparatively, and then at the research base of the problems appeared in the process of household register system transform in JiangSu province, put forward some suggestions to innovate our active household register system.
