Research On Countermeasures To Improve The Disabled People's Medical Insurance

The disabled persons are a group of people with various difficulties. The quality of their lives should arise attentions to society. Although we have made great progress in our economics, the life of the disabled persons is not significantly improved. There are lots of causes accounting for this phenomenon. One major cause is that the disabled persons do not have a medical insurance. Because the health insurance system in our country has not been well established, at present, the disabled persons are basically not covered by the medical insurance. Although"Everybody has a medical insurance"will be a goal of our country, it will take time to fulfill this goal. The disabled persons being covered by the health insurance will become a key step, because if the disabled persons are not covered,"Everybody has a medical insurance"will not be real. Thus, it is important and urgent to study how to let the disabled persons covered by the health insurance system.In this study, based on the social rights, we investigated and analyzed the health situations of the disabled persons. We further suggest different levels of health insurance for the disabled persons. First, the disabled persons are covered by the basic health insurance. Next, the social medical help covers the disabled persons. With basic medical insurance and social medical help, disabled persons, the special group of people, will have a real security system.
