| The battle laboratory in US army is resulted from military transformation and functions as exploration and experiment in the process of military transformation. On the basis of rich information both domestic and abroad, this paper analyzes the background of necessity of battle laboratory in military transformation; moreover, it further analyzes the structure of battle laboratory and discusses its methodology and technologies; still, it studies its application and function in military transformation from three facets: development of armaments, innovation in military theory and transformation of military training; still further, based on the previous analysis and studies, it explores our present state and provides suggestions on construction of our battle laboratory.
