Analysis Of Chinese Northeast Asia Security Policy After The Cold War

After the Cold War, security situation is complex in northeast Asian region, and Korean peninsula is splitting up, military allies is existing between the US and Japan, right-wing forces are rampant in Japan, China's growing up, etcetera, all of them are new uncertain factors for the regional security, however, it tend to stable totally. China plays a extremely important role in the region, and China's development closely related to surrounding's steady, peach and cooperation. However, the region's relationships are complex, not only including of the US, China, Russia, Japan, but also accumulation of society system, ideology, historical hatreds, territorial dispute, etcetera. To pull one hair and move the whole body, complex geographical circumstances are no doubt to challenging for China's development in peace. China is the big country in the northeast Asia region, and the region's circumstances closely interrelated to China's state's security. State's security benefits of China focuses on the region, and the region is also the springboard towards to world and the cornerstone developed in peach for China. Thus, it is significant for the region's peace and steady that taking what's attitudes and policies to solute its problems.The paper comprised three parts:Part I: discussing of the regional framework of northeast Asia and China's state security. Firstly, according to the comparisons among big countries, such as China, the US, Japan, Russia, and their security strategy gaming in northeast Asia after the Cold War, the frameworks of"one super, three strong"was analyzed. Secondly, according to the non-main-conducting place of China in northeast Asia security orders and illumination of gaming to construct northeast Asia security orders and China's security benefits and tasks in the region, influences of the region's security orders on China's state security were analyzed further.Part II: comparative analysis of China's security dilemmas faced in the region, targets of security policies and the countermeasures to deal with the situations. Firstly, starting from the US hegemony, relationships between China and Japan, problems in Korean peninsula, china's security dilemmas were analyzed in the region. Secondly, analysis showed our countries'targets of security policies in the region and the pathways and measures to achieve these targets: (1)to maintain the region's peach and steady; (2)to search the right of speech suited itself identify; (3)to improve each country's cooperation and mutual trust. Thirdly, according to the analysis of China's targets of security policy in the region, our country's security countermeasures relatively: (1)to stay Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence to deal with relationships with northeast Asian countries; (2)to develop the strategic partnership with Russia further; (3)to solute the nuclear issue of North Korea as early as possible; (4)to strength the cooperation of non-traditional security area among northeast Asian countries; (5)to push the construction of mechanism of multi-lateral security cooperation positively.According to the analysis above, the effect of our countries to maintain the region's security was illuminated further. Firstly, as its politics steady, China is playing a balanced role in geographical strategy and regional economics cooperation. Secondly, China's attitude towards to the nuclear issue of North Korea and Taiwan issue wined the reputations and respects of international society, and image of big country was set up. China is becoming a stable maintainer of the northeast Asia security. Thirdly, as improving of double-lateral or multi-lateral security cooperation to strength the mutual trust with the regional countries, reduce the conflicts and remain the regional peach and security, China is becoming the improver of the regional security cooperation. Conclusion showed: as one of big countries, China is playing increasingly important role in northeast Asia region. Nowadays, China is being in the strategic opportunity period, it is significant for China's development that keeping the surrounding's peach and steady, maintaining the regional multi-lateral security. Serious situations of northeast Asia both take the challenges and opportunities. Northeast Asia takes a stage of expressing the diplomatic capacities and set up the image of big country. Accompanying with the perfect of China's diplomatic policies increasingly, China must stride proudly ahead, express the diplomatic style in the region, improve the regional cooperation, and make ourselves'contributions to maintain the regional steady and the world peach.
