Research On Construction Of Assessing Mechanism Of Policing Performance In The County Public Security Of Hunan

Along with the gradual deepening of its political and economic reforms, China has constantly strengthened public security structure and personnel reform. Especially in recent years, the issue of carrying forward police management scientific and rational has been increasingly concerned. As the core part of the issue, assessing mechanism of policing performance should be well reseached. However, there are few theses discussing effective assessing. This thesis tries to construct scientific and rational assessing mechanism so as to improving policing performance.This article contains four parts. Firstly, it introduces assessing mechanism research background and significance as well as reviews domestic and international study status quo. Based on comprehensive analysis of the assessing mechanism in the county public security institution in Hunan, the paper tries to find the problems existing in current mechanism. Secondly, the article analyses connotation, relative element and basic principle of assessing mechanism, meanwhile establishes Behaviorally anchored rating scale as assessing mechanism of policing performance in the county public security in Hunan. Thirdly, applying assessing model that builded up in the thesis to Public Security Bureau of Taojiang county in line with its actual condition, then forms strategic map. Finally, the paper discusses the obstacle may occurred after applying new model and provides solution.
