A Study Of Communist Youth League Cadres Of Grassroots Leadership Behavior

In this study, we use two research methods,qustionnaire survey method and depth interview. We study the primary leadership behavior of Communist Youth League cadres with the transformational and transactional leadership theory.This paper selects five cities, the National Youth League cadres of 131 questionnaires, and 24 of them were in-depth interviews, statistical analysis software through spss15.0 analysis of the questionnaire, that the study findings,and the Communist Youth League cadres at the grass-roots leadership behavior make relevant recommendations.Through the study we found that leadership behavior of The Communist Youth League cadres at the grassroots level reflects the characteristics of transformational leadership, but also show some of the transactional leadership style. Gender, job level, education and political landscape of four variables on the grass-roots group of leading a significant impact on behavior, while the work of prefectures and cities, age, work experience and job nature of the regiment for the grassroots cadres, no significant influence leadership behavior.Through the study,we found the Communist Youth League cadres at the grassroots level that leadership behavior reflects the characteristics of transformational leadership, but also show some of the transactional leadership style. The grass-roots Communist Youth League cadres with excellent features four factors: (1) leadership charisma factors, mainly as having affinity and outward-looking character traits; (2) affective emotional factors, grass-roots group cadres have emotional stability, good self-control;(3) The quality and ethical considerations, there must be a noble character, dedication; (4) intelligence and ability factors: organization and coordination capacity, communication skills, thinking skills. The power of the Communist Youth League cadres at the grass-roots sources of three forms: the legal nature of power, the power and appeal of the incentive power; the Communist Youth League cadres and the use of trickery There are two main ways: high-level authority and alliances. In addition, the analysis found that four kinds of effective leadership behaviors: (1) grasp the era of opportunity, local municipal development is a prerequisite to ensure the effective leadership behavior; (2) were superior leaders and relevant departments at the same level of support is a guarantee of effective leadership behavior; (3) the support and co-ordination under the leadership behavior is effective basis; (4) grass-roots Communist Youth League cadres and a good individual quality is the key to ensuring effective leadership behavior.
