As humans entering into the information society,modern information technology plays an increasingly important role in various fields,including the field of education.Education informatization has become an important measure to promote and deepen education reform.The effective integration of basic teaching courses and modern information technology,including mathematics,is of great significance in improving teaching efficiency and enhancing teaching quality and overall quality of students.The integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum is also emphasized in the General Junior High School Mathematics Curriculum Standard(Experimental).Based on modern information technology,educational resources should be enriched.This study adopted the comparative method and interview method,focusing on the effective implementation of integration in teaching practice to improve the efficiency of mathematics teaching.In order to explore the practical effect of the integration of information technology and junior high school mathematics curriculum,this study adopted case study of qualitative research.In the case study,data were collected based on interview and observation and courseware and case analyses,to summarize the information application in mathematics education of junior high school,and to clarify the role of information technology in improving the quality of mathematics.Firstly,this studyfound that the importance of information technology in teaching has been fully recognized by teachers of junior high school mathematics,which explains why teachers are also positively integrating it with mathematics teaching process.However,due to the weak of knowledge of information technology theory,and the lack of specific methods for how to integrate information technology and curriculum well,weakened the passion and motivation of some teachers for the application of information technology in teaching process,resulting into the information technology ultimately failed to integrate well with the mathematic curriculum.Therefore,teachers and schools need to work together to improve the application of educational information in junior high school.For instance,the ability of application of information technology of teachers can be improved during the preparation process of demonstration class and public presentation class.Furthermore,based on the interview and observation analyses,two classes with similar academic status in Sichuan Guang'an Middle School were selected.Teaching cases were designed and implemented based on the integration of information technology,to explore the role of the teaching aid software(i.e.,Love Learning Class),geometric drawing board and PPT and object projector in improving educational quality.The teaching assistant software was helpful to track the quality and progress of preview of students.This enabled the teacher to implement the flipped classroom strategy,which improved the self-learning ability of students.The characteristics of accurate drawing and dynamics of geometry drawing board could promote the understanding of dynamic geometry knowledge of students.The PPT and object projector played a positive role in stimulating the interest of students in studying the questions of law exploration,and in guiding students to think actively.The results of after-class test confirmed the positive role of information technology in educational quality of junior high school mathematics.Lastly,based on the results of case study,the understanding of teachers of junior high school towards informationization of mathematics education,the effective ways to improve information literacy of teachers,and the notable problems in the process of junior high school mathematics education informationization were summarized.In addition,the future research prospect of the integration of mathematics education and information technology was listed.
