The Study On Higher Vocational Education Development In Nanchang Region

The higher vocational education, an essential constituent of high education, is an important basis of national economy and social development. The sustainable development of the HVE, on one hand, requires harmonization with that of economies, the society and other Educational undertakings; on the other hand, it should correspond with its inner factors, organic mechanism and ways of operation.Since 1999, Jiangxi Vocational education has been developed rapidly, with the expanding scale, improving system and increasing the government supports, which directly contributed to the local economic development. With its development, advanced vocational system of Nanchang has also been realized with some inadequacies, for instance, ho to develop it according to the characteristics of economic development of Nanchang? What obstacles now it faces to? And how to solve these problems? The author presents a detailed analysis basing on theoretical and practical aspects.Firstly, the author marks a demarcation of some fundamental concepts, and makes a brief introduction of the background information to some correlated theories. This will provide theoretical support to this paper:Secondly, the author made a further analysis of the conditions about the higher vocational education development in Nanchang region.Thirdly, The third part pointed out the five problems of higher vocational education existing in Nanchang region,1) the out-of-date ideas about HVE 2) irrational faculty structure and insufficient quality of faculty 3) disorder enrolment 4)the poor foundation of HVE 5) many problems about private vocational collegesFinally, the last portion of the article proposed the resolutions regarding how to improve higher education development in Nanchang region.
