Track and Field Materials as an important basis with the carrier of Track and Field Course, not only the teachers organize the teaching of the main support, but also as so important basis for track and field student access to basic knowledge, basic skills, capacity development, and foster a scientific world view so important basis.Based on the literature material, questionnaire survey, comparative analysis, logical induction, mathematical statistics method and so on, based mainly on the main course Track and Field materials which published by Higher Education Press in 2006, comparison the text analysis and the actual situation with other versions which published by Higher Education Press after Teaching "separation" in 1986, combined with educational thinking, physical education and physical education training objective analysis of the factors such as the characteristics of each version of materials, explore the process of teaching materials to show the advantages and shortcomings. The results show that:Firstly,formal structure of track and field materials continues to introduce new settings,but contact with teachers and students not close; The choice of real structure in knowledge content change a little, Problem setting the form should be continuously strengthened training of student ability.Secondly, affect the structure of track and field material factors:Social factors, the level of sports science development, educational philosophy, guiding principles and the preparation of the members.Thirdly, Exercise preparation, structure systems, materials and the gap between the realities is not suited for users, and associated with the coordination of interdisciplinary still not close enough; there are still some lacks of materials in the teaching of the use of scientific inquiry.Fourth, functionality of material changes, making the design of teaching material structure toward Learning Materials, the direction of diversification, capacity-building elements of concern.
