The Research About University Teachers' Personal Knowledge Management And Application Strategies

People are coming into the Informational Age. The truth is that it brings the information blast. it brings out the tremendous challenge for university teachers, who are the knowledge owners,disseminators and leader of the knowledge forefront. For the demands, people should have the abilities of PKM. Its purpose is to Enhance the individuals'ability of managing knowledge and innovation,and to enhance their competitiveness. Now,the study of PKM is more superficial,which is lack of the deep study systemically. This paper began the study from the theory and practice based on the background.From two aspects of theory and practice, the paper discussed the related strategies on personal knowledge management of university teachers. There are four parts in the body article. The first part was preface. The paper simply introduced the purpose, significance, research methods and achievements of the research. After that it analyzed the actualities of personal knowledge management at home and abroad, introduced the research progress at home and abroad in the past 10 years.The second part expounded the basic theory of knowledge management and university teachers' personal knowledge management systematically. First, it expounded the basic theory of knowledge management and personal knowledge managemen systematically. Then, after analyzing the professional and knowledge characteristics of university teachers, it discussed the impact on university teachers'professional development from three aspects of professional concept, the knowledge structure and ability structure. Last it put forward the skills a college teacher should have, and introduce several common software of personal knowledge management.The third part was the investigation of individual knowledge management of university teachers by questionnaire. It analyzed the data from three aspects of intention to enhance personal knowledge management, Source of knowledge and the tools used. After that it summarized the three affecting factors, which were individual factor, social factor and School factors. Then it analyzed the problems in the current university teachers.The fourth part was about the solutions of university teachers'personal knowledge management. It put forward the theoretical framework of personal knowledge management system for the university teacher Then it raised the technology solutions. At last it studied the practice with the example of pin PKM,PDL,Blog and Outlook 2003.
