Institute-industry partnership in research into our mind is the German dual system, and the other may come into our mind, that is Australian TAFE Institute-Industry partnership. The characteristics of TAFE institute-industry partnership is an important way of learning practical skills, improving the efficiency of vocational education output, promoting directly employment for students. For industries, the access to highly skilled worker may directly contribute to the development of industries. Therefore, institute-industry partnership is a win-win process. TAFE institute-industry partnership in Australia has developed for several years. The practice of TAFE institute-industry partnership has made some effects, whose successes and shortcomings can provide useful experience and lessons for our cooperation between vocational schools and industries.The study describes TAFE institute-industry partnership, the working current situation, the guarantee mechanisms and several examples of Australian TAFE institute-industry partnership, analyzes its practice status, including the positive effects and existing problems, summarizes its experience so that it can be a useful source of reference for China's cooperation between vocational schools and industries.The study is divided into six parts:Introduction section:discusses the origin of this research, literature review and the research design.Part I:Describes the concept, motivation and the phases of Australian TAFE institute-industry partnership.Part II:Analyzes the running status of Australian TAFE institute-industry partnership, including the process of TAFE institute-industry partnership and several examples of NSW TAFE institute-industry partnership.Partâ…¢:Analyzes the input mechanisms and organizational surveillance mechanisms to understand how to guarantee the TAFE institute-industry partnership..PartIV:Analyzes the results of TAFE institute-industry partnership, and points out the successful experience and the problems to improve and summarizes its characteristics.PartV:Based on the previous part of the analysis and discussion of the paper, combined with the actual situation of China's vocational education, makes a few suggestions for our current cooperation between vocational schools and industries.
