Higher vocational education is one form of education thatmost closely connected with the social economy, to establish internalintegrated external quality assurance system to confirm the highervocational education quality is very important to the promotion ofnational economic development and social progress. Australia is one ofthe countries whose higher vocational education developed early andmade outstanding achievements after World War II. Technique andfurther educational (TAFE) college, as the main institute to providevocational education and training in Australia, owns a strict and perfectquality guarantee system from the government, the industry to thecollege itself three aspects. The researching goal of this article is aimedat studying more about TAFE Colleges Quality Assurance System so asto get some reference and guidance for the processing anddeveloping of Chinese higher vocational education.This paper firstly introduces the rise of TAFE College and itsstrategic position, then analyses TAFE Colleges quality guarantee fromthe government, industry and TAFE College three parts. The first partintroduces the government guarantees the TAFE Colleges quality fromthe law, specialized agencies, financial provision and national trainingframework four aspects. The second part mainly introduces TAFEColleges quality guarantee from the angle of the industry, includingdecision-making and management, funding support and thecombination and interaction between industry and TAFE College. Thethird part launches the discussion about TAFE College their own qualitysafeguard measures, including the curriculum, teacher, teaching andstudents four aspects.Based on the above discussion, this paper concludes three featuresabout TAFE college’s quality guarantee system: strict and effective management, perfect and unified framework, standard andcertification system, flexible and efficient market operation mode.Leaning from the successful experience of the TAFE Colleges QualityAssurance System in Australia, the higher vocational education in ourcountry should build a Quality Assurance System from the internal andexternal part. External quality assurance measures mainly includingmaking comprehensive laws and regulations; improving the technicaland vocational education system; establishing a diversified financingsystem; constructing an open education system. Internal qualityassurance measures mainly including establishing an open teachinggoal, focusing on the high quality process of teaching, improving theconstruction of the teaching evaluation system.
