With the development of the economy and the progress of society,all countries attach great importance to education.Since the quality of teachers determines the quality of education,countries have paid great attention to the professional development of teachers.The Australian TAFE Academy has a highly specialized faculty,which is closely related to the composition of its teacher training system.Only when the training system is well established can the professional development of teachers be promoted.The Australian TAFE Academy correctly recognizes the importance of teacher quality for the development of vocational education.Therefore,it attaches importance to the on-the-job training of teachers and forms a unique in-service teacher training system.With the related materials,the author divides the full text into six chapters: The first chapter is the introduction part,which introduces the reasons for the choice of the topic,the significance of the topic,the research situations at home and abroad,research methods,concept definition,and summarizing the predecessors' data and the writer's own invention.The second chapter deals with development of the innovation and research focus of the TAFE College,the history of the on-the-job training of the TAFE College in Australia is described from the three stages of the germination period,the reform period and the multi-development period.The third chapter analyzes the status and necessity of training of TAFE college teachers through the macro understanding of the teacher classification,the teacher's job responsibilities,etc,to understand teachers general situation,so as to analyse the necessity for training teachers.The fourth chapter is the most important part of the whole text.The components of teachers' on-the-job training has eight aspects,including training principles,standards,content,channels,institutions and organizations.The fifth chapter is a case study of the in-service teacher training of TAFE Academy in Sydney and New South Wales.The sixth chapter is about how Australia teacher's on-the-job training of TAFE college is learned in China.Because China's on-the-job training of teachers in higher vocational education has many shortcomings.Through the overview of Australia's the on-the-job training of TAFE college teachers,many experiences have been learned.The experiences are usefulfor China's on-the-job training in vocational higher education,and contributes to the formation of a complete teacher vocational education and training system in China.
