《Basic Education Reform (Trial)》puts forward that, one of the goals is to change the excessively concentrated curriculum management, and enhance the adaptability to the local, school and students, by the implement of the three-level curriculum management. As the expansion and supplement of the national curriculum, school-based curriculum provides theoretical support for diversified curriculum reform, contributing to the formation of schools' characteristics, teachers' professional development and students' personality development.High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University has advanced education philosophy and school-running idea. As an experimental base of the second curriculum reform, it has formed mature and comprehensive school curriculum system, and then accumulated rich experience in curriculum development and construction. However, its construction of IT curriculum still stays in elective courses.This study, based on the theoretical research, analyzes the present situation to develop school-based IT curriculum through the investigations and studies on High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University, in order to provide theoretical support and practical guidance. This thesis is divided into four chapters as follows:The first chapter introduces the background, the related theory, and the contents, methods and the current situation of the research;The second chapter mainly introduces SWOT analysis, and then analyzes the feasibility of using SWOT analysis in school-based curriculum development;The third chapter introduces the case study on the school-based IT curriculum of High School Attached to Shanghai Normal University:According to SWOT analysis, it conducts investigation and analysis, then classifies and organizes the results from four dimensions:strength, weakness, opportunity and threat. At last, it concludes the corresponding strategies and suggestions, using the combinative analysis of SWOT;The last chapter reviews and summarizes the thesis, and points out some limitations and puts forward the further research.
