The core issue in compiling history textbooks is the narrative of the truth in history. To the same historical event, textbooks from China and America, very often bear different narrative perspectives and opinions. The orientation of the book compiler himself/herself, through textbooks, deeply affect the next generation, which very possible increase the divergence among Chinese and American while viewing the same historical event. Misunderstandings continue exist and are even getting worse.Nevertheless, as the key component of the Second World War. Pacific War and Anti-Japanese War has and retains its significant influence on Pacific Rim Countries, which, in China and America, have become the cultural communication as well as the cultural conflict center, taking the strategic position among all regions over the world. Therefore, it is quite clear and meaningful that if mutual understandings could be achieved on Pacific War, it will cultivate and develop a greater mutual understanding, which in return will help to promote the regional integration and development. This research framed up with the following three main parts:1) the narratives of Pacific War from the beginning to the end in history textbooks from various countries and regions, to see if there is any missing of important events in relevant textbooks: 2) attention paid to humanism during Pacific War, how far it was reached in different countries and regions; 3) the teaching methods which two country's history textbooks whether the difference. In particular. I conduct this research by studying the different narratives of Pacific War in history textbooks from USA, China and China Taiwan, trying to reflect the history as it was. Through the above, I had. in addition, probed into the influence that would have, when the same history event is described differently, on the national education system, even national sense of value and word view. The research has proceeded with the deviations among different history textbooks, with the purpose of finding and explaining the reasons that cause these deviations and proposing for possible solutions.
