With the curriculum reformation and the innovation of teaching methods, quality-based education of "Humanist" has been already sinking deep into the hearts of the people gradually. The new curriculum advocates a "positive initiative, daring to explore ways of studying". Inquiry learning has become the highlight of classroom teaching, advocated and used by the majority of teachers. Information technology for the high school curriculum standards, It is required that teachers should set off from the characteristics of their subjects, lead the students to change the traditional and sold learning methods and promote students' IT attainment.The work in the dissertation is mainly arranged as follows:On the basis of having carefully read the extensive literature, the relevant information on inquiry learning at home and abroad has done a more systematic combing and induction, the New Information Technology Curriculum Criterion in high schools are analyzed and the implementation of updated curriculum innovation are observed.Through interviewing probe and questionnaire survey, this paper analyses the current situation of the teaching and learning of information technology in current high school, and finds out how information technology teachers view inquiry learning.The paper has made a systematic learning on inquiry learning and introduces its typical mode.Then it gives a mode of inquiry learning based on the network for the course of Information Technology in high school and describes the application framework and its process.According to the content of teaching materials, it gives a concrete plan on action research. According to specific cases of classroom teaching design, the paper introduces applications of typical mode above in the course of Information Technology in high school, and gives re-thoughts on teaching practice.Also it puts forward some questions on using the method.Through research on inquiry learning practice in high school information technology curriculum, the paper makes clear that improving the effectiveness of inquiry which depends on the concerted efforts of teachers and students, such as building web-based resource center, improving the evaluating system, increasing scope and depth of practice, raising concerns about real life. In the context of the New Curriculum, we try many different learning styles. Especially using inquiry learning as the examine, consolidation and advancement of knowledge is educational reform to promote the development of each student, which provides more flexible learning space and a personalized opportunities for advancement.
