The 21st century is the century of lifelong learning, construction of learning-oriented society is the current international social education development inevitable trend. China's higher education self-study exam in the process of building the study-oriented society plays a very important function and role. And in view of the higher education self-study exam from examinee group characteristics and adult learning motivation research is very important, can help deepen the reform of higher education self-study exam in the learning-type society, and also is the basis of formulate relevant policy.This paper mainly studies the process of building a learning society in our country from the examinee of adult learning motivation, types, and the influence of the adult learning motivation, internal and external factors, and according to the characteristics of Chinese adult who formulated with motivation demand for adults from examinee incentive strategy. Its contents are as follows: First, the theoretical analysis sectionChina's higher education self-study exam by the status and problems of higher education self-study exam, the relationship with the learning society, further elaborates the elicit the purpose and significance of this study. Literature summarizes part introduces adult learning motivation of relevant theories and their adults in China for study from examinee learning motivation of instruction meaning.Second, the empirical research sectionChina's higher education adult from examinee learning motivation of empirical studies - in fuzhou, for example. This paper mainly utilized questionnaire survey and individual the form of an interview investigation and research of our adult learning motivation, from the examinee.
