With the continuous progress of human and society, information technology has penetrated to all aspects of people's lives, modern society need creative talents who are with subjectivity and high capacity of information technology. But the traditional teaching ideas and the old teaching models, which can't guarantee the training of high-quality expertise talents and top-notch creative talents; as a result, we should change the teaching ideas and reform the teaching models. With the rapid development of Internet, the online education spread among people, and the online course which is an important part of the online education is receiving attention of more and more experts. Therefore, what the researchers explore strongly is how to coordinate the relationship between the online course and the classroom teaching, so that they can work together to improve the learning effect.Blended learning is the combination of the advantages of the online course and the classroom teaching, which can not only arouse the subjectivity of students' learning, but also exert the guidance of teachers' teaching. Blended learning can benefit the enhancement of students' learning. Research-oriented online course is online course based on research study, which can stimulate students'learning motivation and mobilize the enthusiasm of students' learning fully. The construction of online course is just a way, its value is reflected by the reasonable implementation, and its ultimate goal is to improve the teaching quality. The combination between blended learning and research-oriented online course, which is applied to the teaching practice of university students, the students can realize independent study and enhance their spirit of innovation, sense of active exploration, ability of using information technology to practice.The paper is based on the postgraduate education innovation projects of Central China Normal University "The development and implementation of postgraduate online course based on research study", and it takes the research-oriented online course of Research Methods of Educational Technology as an example, in addition, it selects the undergraduates of education technology, the graduates of education technology, and the undergraduates of other specialties as research subjects. With the common use of various research methods, such as survey research, experimental research, action research, and so on, we evaluate the implementation effect of the research-oriented online course of Research Methods of Educational Technology based on blended learning in many aspects and with multiple perspectives, which provides a very good reference to the specific implementation of similar online courses, and proposes the constructive comments to improve the implementation effect of online course.Before the beginning of the course, with the questionnaire about students' present ability and learning needs, we carried out the preliminary survey, and found out the blended learning needs and present research capacity of the three research subjects separately. Then, we designed their application modes and evaluation indicators of the research-oriented online course based on blended learning separately. At the time of implementing the application modes of the research-oriented online course based on blended learning, which was integrated into a variety of learning activities. Furthermore, after the end of the course, with the questionnaire about students' learning effects and the implementation of online course, we carried out the subsequent investigation, and with students' works and scores, we evaluated and compared the implementation effects of the three research subjects. In the end, we discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of research-oriented online course based on blended learning, and proposed the specific measures to improve the implementation effect, in order to provide a reference to the implementation of research-oriented online course based on blended learning in the future.
