The popularization of higher education provides new opportunities for the development of private universities, while it also makes them face all types of competition from home and abroad, but the competition among universities ultimately depends on the competition among teachers. An effective motivate mechanism can bring the initiative of teachers into full play, develop their potential abilities, improve teaching quality and efficiency of university, which could make the development of university dynamic and sustainable. Thus, the research on motivate mechanism of private college teacher and related issues has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper constructed fundamental framework of motivate mechanism of private college teacher, and put forward some relevant recommendations of further improving the motivate mechanism of private college teacher, which was on basis of analyzing plentiful domestic and foreign research literature related to teachers'motivation, and combining investigation and analysis of motivation situation in private colleges in Hefei, Anhui province.Specifically, this paper firstly applied relevant theory, and proposed the following opinions: the particularity of Private Colleges, namely, the coexistence of public service and industry, strong cost conscious, the shortage of high-level personnel; particularity of the identity of teachers in private colleges, namely, the complex of "social man" and "unit man", the instability of contractual relationship with colleges, the diversification of the structure and sources. Based on the analysis above, this paper illustrated three main factors which motivate private college teachers: Responding responding to external competition, reducing internal costs, win-win cooperation with teachers, by means of utilizing transaction cost theory, principal-agent theory and so on.Sceondly, this paper took pratial colleges in Hefei, Anhui province as example, and collected relevant materials of motivating private college teachers, and then came to the following conclusions: postgraduate opportunities, performance appraisal, party and mass organizations are the more prominent three aspect which private college teachers are not satisfied with; survival needs are the basic needs of teachers in private colleges; relation needs and developmental needs are equally important. Finally, the author believed that private colleges should grasp several principles for encouraging teachers: consideration to the organization goals and personal goals, fairness, individual differences, the guiding of positive reinforcement. On this basis, the author constructed private college teachers motivate integration model which included needs analysis, selection and implementation of motivate strategies, performance appraisal, output and feedback. At the same time, the author proposed proposal which is the implementation of performance management for private college, such as paying attention to non-economic motivation, cultivation and improvement of teachers, encouraging participation in the democratic management and so on.
