Through year of teaching practice and study on a lot of common phenomena about the narrative writing . The author discusses the elementary knowledge ,classification different ways of expression of narrative writing and presents some suggestion on teaching the narrative writing . In which the author puts stress on the classification and the five ways of expression such as narration , description expression argumentation and exposition . In the classification of the narrative writing , it can be classified into describing substances scenery ,narrating matters and persons , according to the different objects reflected ,The author analyses the process and the essentials in the writing ,discusses the meanings , classifications and characters of these four ways of writing in the narrative expressions , and draws many classical examples from the secondary normal school text book. Reading and writing to prove her point of views In these five ways of expression , the author lays special importance on discussing the neglected points in some college writing text books and in the primary and middle school narrative writing teaching . In addition, the author analyses the different express ions between the narrative writing and the expository writing , makes a deep and systematic discussion on the different characters of explanation, narration,especialtythemake梪pnarration inthe narrative writing , and also on the classifications , methods andpatternsof explanation inthenarrativewriting. Finally, according to the writing teaching situation in the secondary normal school ,the author puts forward some specific and practical suggestions.
