On the basis of summarizing the characters of physics and the great function to the development of students caused by physics instruction in middle school, through investigation and analysis of the situation of instruction today, this paper points out some problem existing in the traditional instruction, because more and more modern instructional medias have been used in physics classroom instruction, and some physics teachers, fettered by the traditional instructional theory and teaching method and so on, have not taken full advantage of modern media, this paper discusses and analyses most of the instructional medias used in instruction process, and points out the essential principles about how to select different teaching medias .Instructional design is the systemic method of researching the instructional system and instructional process and establishing the instructional scheme. Instructional design is the scheme of instruction activity, through teacher's intellective activity, making instructional design can idealize teaching intention, shape teaching pattern, structure teaching space, form perspective before instruction. Instructional design depends on the guidance of theory, at the same time, it instructs the instruction practice, also follows the general principles of teaching, it can also help teachers exert their individuality and creativity. For all the teachers in middle school, combining the theory of instructional design with their teaching experiences, can help them to grasp teaching process more systemically and more comprehensively, they can survey and ameliorate their teaching activity in a higher level, and understand instruction better.ABSTRACTBecause the theory of instructional design is very important for teaching staffs, this paper expatiates the theory of instructional design systemically.Because physics is a natural subject based on observation and experiment, instruction of physics has the favourable condition for using modern teaching media, some people can't understand diathesis education entirely, they simply think that once modern teaching media is used in physics classroom instruction, the effect of instruction can be greatly improved. In some areas, there are teaching activities held by some schools or teaching departments utilizing modern media out of place, aiming at this kind of phenomena, this paper discusses the great function of modern media for physics classroom teaching and the principles we must follow when we use modern teaching media in physics instruction.This paper is composed of some contents, it summarizes the characters of physics instruction and the role for students' development, it analyses the characters of instructional medias used in physics teaching process, it also expatiate on the theory of instructional design, analyses the problems in middle school instruction process today caused by exam system and evaluation principles, and this paper points out the misuse of modern media in physics classroom teaching. Once we get correct understanding for these problems, and combine them with our own teaching experiments, can we make full use of modern media in physics teaching, make instructional design based on modern media, enhance students' development in all aspects. At last, this paper offers an example of instructional design.
