Teachers-in-charge play an important role in elementary and middle education in China. Connecting with daily work of teachers-in-charge in middle normal school, this paper begins with analysis of work model for teachers-in-charge.Based on the negative effects and thought resources for inculcation-mandate model, the writer has a systematic analysis of problems such as the construction of instruction-service model, work aims, education channels and evaluation of students and so on. This paper aims at drawing people ' s thoughts of the actual efficiency of teachers-in-charge' s work as well as bringing some help to improve their work. This paper consists of six parts:Part one: work model for teachers-in-charge and upgrading of it. Beginning with an analysis of education model, this part mainly discusses the conception of work model for teachers-in-charge, the fundamental elements and the relationship between the elements. This part also suggests that work model for teachers-in-charge should upgrade incessantly with the development of society.Part two: analysis of inculcation-mandate work model for teachers-in-charge. With the basis of pointing out major manifestations of inculcation-mandate work model, this part analyzes- major harmfulness such as restraining students ' function of main body and neglecting to cultivate students' creative spirits. At the same time, this part discusses that thought resources for this model.Part three: the construction of instruction-service model. This part introduces the factual backgrounds and the theory basis for constructing instruction- service model. It finallyemphasis that instruction-service model should aims at students' development, that the instruction should be viewed as a means and that this model should cultivate students' creat ive spirits.Part four: work aims of instruction-service model. The instruction- service model requires that teachers-in-charge have education values suiting modern education ideas and students' values. Then the writer analyzes functions of work aims, class aims and individual aims in this model.Part five: exploration of education means for instruction-service model. This part gives a detailed description of class construction, education in activities and psychological intervention of students.Part six: the evaluation of instruction-service model. This part discusses the meaningfulness of students ' evaluation, tactics for evaluation and some problems in it.
