With the first reform of the curriculums of elementary education in the new century, inquiry mode becomes the focus of comment and the hardest exploration in the reform. As one of the very important curriculums of the elementary education, the Inquiry mode of Chinese teaching is undoubtedly the hot topic in the educational field. The so-called inquiry mode of Chinese teaching is to introduce inquiry into classroom, so that students can do their best to understand their texts and themselves through querying, proving, interchange and experiences, Chinese inquiry mode demand and can develop their capabilities of self-construction of Chinese accomplishments. The inquiry mode of Chinese teaching is based on the inquiry mode of science teaching and combined with the fundamental characteristics of Chinese teaching. The teaching mode has a profound basis of pedagogy and psychology. The implementation of the inquiry mode in Chinese teaching may push on the reform and development of elementary education, improve the students Chinese capabilities, andhelp educate multi-talented and creative people.The inquiry mode of Chinese teaching is formulated according to the aim and the recognition of the regularities of the mode. It is used to standardize the basic requirements of the inquiry mode of Chinese teaching. Beside general principles of teaching, it has four basic principles: the principle of subjects interaction, the principle of being good at discovery, the principle of self-construction and the principle of sense-seeking.The inquiry mode of Chinese teaching is a teaching model, It formed under the guidance of teaching theory of the inquiry mode teaching, by summing up inter-action and its process of the specific teachers, students and the medium. The mode is a link between theory and practice of the inquiry mode of Chinese teaching. It involves theoretical grounds,teaching expectation, operational procedure and basic characteristics and so on. Its theoretical grounds mainly include: the educational idea of comprehensive and harmonious development, the idea of going forward with each passing day, the educational idea of conscious study and the educational idea of democracy and equality. Its teaching expectation includes sentimental expectation, recognizing expectation andprocess expectation. The operational procedure includes four stages: designing a situation and displaying question positive thinking and active inquiry ?mutual interchange and forming conclusion ?practice and to be perfected day by day. Except for the general characteristics of teaching such as integration, medium, operative ness, aim and effectiveness, the inquiry mode of Chinese teaching has some special traits. It taKes the modern pedagogic theory and practice as its foundation and can sufficiently develop students ' the sense of subject. It takes experience, communication and understanding as the main teaching methods, and it anew fixes the role position of the teacher.In the course of the inquiry mode of Chinese teaching, attention should be given to the following tactics: how to set up a situation and bring forward a question, how to collect and deal with information, how to open a dialog and cooperate with others and how to develop in actives. In the process of setting up a situation and bringing forward a question, teachers must consider students' knowledge structure, level of reorganization, ability of reorganization, and consider the way to inspire students' desire to inquiry and the way to focus students' attention on the most important questions, not on theordinary questions. In the process of collecting and dealing with information, teachers ought to ask students to collect information independently and advance their tenable new opinions actively. In the process of opening a dialog and cooperate with others, teachers ought to be good at listening, suggesting and cooperating. In the process of developing in actives, teachers should ask students to participate extensively in order to promote by way of group discussion...
