With the coming of the information times. We receive a message: this is the times of calling the innovation and the personality. And then the people created a new concept "innovative education". Innovating education mainly aims at training the students innovative consciousness, innovative ability ,and innovative spirits .The senior stage is very important for the students growth of their lives and is the critical time to the training of innovative ability .The senior physics education should be meet with the needs of the development of the time .By changeing the idea of education and teaching ,by excavated the innovating sciences quality ,the students' innovative ability should be trained in the physics classroom teaching .The senior physics education should play a key role in training ability of the senior students.Innovative ability is the core of Innovative education and it is made up of innovating thinking, knowledge, metacognition and personality. Raising the students' innovative ability in the senior physics teaching refer to the theory of education .psychology and teaching technology and so on .A lot of newest problem need to be thought . Training innovative ability in senior physics is elaborated on by three divided chapters in the paper .Linked with the educative theory ,the paper gives details about the definition and the Innovative ability .The view is expounded that knowledge is the base of innovative ability ,the innovative thinking is the core ,the personality is the assurance ,the metacogrition is the regulation .After the investigation of the senior students' innovative ability ,1 made a research into the way and the method of raising the innovative ability in the senior physics educaion.
