When the curriculum reform is facing a great development, people always reflect and criticize the theories and thoughts of the previous curriculum. This is a regular phenomenon in the process of curriculum history.The change and the development of curriculum theories and thoughts stem from the curriculum reform, and it is the reflection of the curriculum reform which keeps put forward some problems. As the original theory cannot instruct and solve them, it will require new theory and thought. The intersubjective curriculum made its start on the confusion of today′s "possessive subject" curriculum and it challenges the latter one relying on its powerful destructive force. The intersubjective curriculum focuses on the mergence and communication of intersubject which involves three elements: student-subject, teacher-subject,text-subject(the compilers of the text and the potential culture creators in the text). Mutual understanding and common understanding among the three subjects through communication build up the core of the intersubjective curriculum.The intersubjective curriculum reflects the rich connotation of the intercourse spirit of the time. So it is obvious that this curriculumis the rebellion against the "possessive-subject" and isn't the revival of collective subjective curriculum which stops the independent spirit .On the contrary, the intersubjective curriculum in itself is the result of seeking individual independent spirit. In 21st century ,the expanding of international intercourse and the development of China socialist market economy system ask for education to cultivate students of being the independent and co-operating subject and ask for curriculum to cultivate people′s intersubjectivity .But, nowadays, in the curriculum of our country, there are generally two biases: collectivism "subjectivity" and "isolated individualsubjectivity". So the intersubjective curriculum is not just the lonely fashion suspending on the "academy circle", but the thought and theory guiding the reform and the design of the curriculum.According on the target of the intersubjective curriculum, the co-operating study begins to go into the class, and the qualitative method, which is being perfected, also serves strong base for this curriculum.Although academy circle still doesn't have meeting of minds about the intersubjective ,its vigorous vitality should show great future in practice. Construction of intersubjective curriculum is not only necessary, but also practical and urgent.
