The development and using of oriented-life history course resources in rural areas plays a peculiar role in impelling the course reform in rural areas. In the present study, author expounds with many perspectives the necessity of the development of oriented history course resources in rural areas from the following aspects: the course reform and the tendency of history development, the transition of teaching way, the relationship between indigenization and internationalization of knowledge and so forth, and analyzes the urgency of course development and using in rural areas on the basis of the present conditions of history teaching, and explicates its value pursuit from the students' long-life learning and teachers' shaping and maturating in specialty teaching and schools' foundation with peculiarity and so on. As applied teaching research, the paper focuses on the practice of history teaching in senior high school in countryside. First of all, it defines the conception of oriented-life history course resources in rural areas, and directs practice with theories, and expounds theories with practical cases. Next, it puts forward the formation of course development thinking which should be founded on the class building way basing on texts and the inquiring leaching way whose basic characteristic is to unfold the research for local history knowledge. There into, the class building developing way can form the developing strategy of the family and kindred culture resources from nearness to farness, of the history remnants and sight from materiality to immateriality, of the changes of hometowns' visage by grading and classifying. Both the two ways mutually complement and those strategies are active at special range respectively. The class building developing way that does not deviate the texts' stylistic rules and layout and amalgamates with normal lesson teaching, is convenient for operation, and overcome the random and blindness of developing knowledge, and ensure the fluency and education of building new knowledge within class. And at the initial stage of development, the way can activate to widen students' thinking and to cultivate their ability to communicate with others in and out of lesson and. With the obvious practicing and dynamic traits, the inquiring leaning developing way is beneficial to develop systematically according the formation of local countryside culture, to maintain its integrity, to be better to exert its function of whole education to cultivate students' ability to develop course resources, and to self-educate. Author suggests that generally the promotion step about the two ways should be gradually transferred from the former to the latter. Besides, the paper provides many classic cases and summarizes some instructive principles and, emphasizes the importance of mechanism guarantee.
