A new teaching reform based on new curriculum reform is taking place all over China. However the change of learning method that is the key of new curriculum. Among the methods, group-work is recommened as one of the three most important learning methods which has already beenaccepted by most of the teachers. But still there is a large number of teachers who don't really understand the essential while they are using them. They are not able to use it properply, so the advantages of this method are not fully shown and developed now.This paper is developed from the history of group-work learning, and conbined with the present situation of Chinese education . It tells the essential of group work which is suitable to China's situation. Conbined with the characters and present situation of physics teaching , this paper mainly talked about the usage of group-work learning in physics teaching. It also talked about the combination between group-work learning and information technology using the thought of subject infiltration. By showing my realteaching experience, my purpose is to help those who haven't really got a truly understanding about group-work learning.
