Along with the development of modern education, action research has become the particular concept in teachers' education. Action research is a kind of special form in solving problems in teaching process and is a cognition process of motivation and prudence, with the characteristics of independence fulfillment, theories application, the cooperation of the whole, dynamic born etc.. It is significant to promote the teachers' professional attainment and to form the collective professional self-confidence and at the same time it is an important approach for the promotion of teaching profession. Physics course teaching in senior high has vivid features, and meantime it is a key link for students to develop in an all-round way. The new curriculum reform put forward the new requirements for the profession attainment of Physics teachers who are engaged in teaching in high school and therefore it is inevitable for the teachers' teaching practice to step forward to specialization. The writer has conducted a series of explorations by applying the theory of action research to teaching practice in Physics, aiming at improving teaching skills, such as: the action research by improving the assignment mode so as to strengthen the ability of the teachers' guidance and supervision in teaching etc.. The writer probed into connotation and features of action research in the course of profession promotion, the function of the teachers' development, theoretical problems of the principles and characteristics of different phases, and the general steps and problems concerned, combining practice.
