Teachers’ specialization has gradually become a social fundamental requirements for teachers in the school. The research about it is also become one of the topics in the educational research. The geography teachers’specialization in high school is a part of teachers’specialization. It is very important to teachers to scientific understanding the connotation and requirements of geography teachers’ specialization for meeting the challenge. The northwest region location in the China map specially, where the education resource conditions and facilities is more poor than other areas, It is very necessary that combining research the high school geography teachers’ specialization and the northwest, in order to explore high school geography teachers’ specialization in the northwest high and finding the long-term development strategy.Firstly, The mainly research is put forward the cause of the high school geography teachers specialization in northwest China, The research scope and depth status quo of this topic in china and abroad are interpreted, to study the subject of theoretical and practical significance, making study plan (such as the research target, ideas, methods, technical routes and planning to solve the problem).Secondly, Explained the connotation of some proper nouns refer to a large number of literature, such as the concept of professional, specialized and professional general teacher professional development stage and geography teacher professional development stage and their features, to further explore high school geography teachers specialization theory foreshadowing in the next chapterThirdly, and the connotation of teachers’ professionalization development model in the last chapter, on the basis of research on high school geography teachers professional special and profound connotation, the author in this chapter, the main point is that there are differences in high school geography teachers specialization junior middle school geography teachers specialization, and the geography teacher professionalization connotation includes three aspects:the content of the geographical science specialized and professional education teaching and professional spirit.
