Teachers' specialization is the inevitably trend to the global educational development. Following the starting and deepening of the reform of basic teaching curriculum in our nation, teachers' specialization development in primary and middle schools is more and more valued by the public. The key content and purpose of teachers' specialization development is to raise teachers' practical intelligence and ability thus to form the practical knowledge. Meanwhile, schools and classrooms is the main position for teachers' specialization development. In this way, school base teaching and research becomes the efficient way to resolve the realistic problems in classroom teaching and to teachers' specialization' development.Through deep research to the school base teaching and research in four primary and middle schools in Lanzhou, this essay reveals the present situation of the school base teaching and research nowadays and analyzes the reasons limited the development of it And in light the characteristics of teachers' teaching and research in primary and middle schools, it offers some operational ideas and suggestions to how to launch the school base teaching and research efficiently.This essay divide into 6 parts. In the first part, it expounds the background, the purpose, the meaning, research methods and thinking of this research. In the second part, it elaborates the basic connotation of speciality, specialization and teachers' specialization from reviewing the history of teachers' specialization, and then limits the teachers in this essay to be the teachers in primary and middle schools and teachers' specialization to be the teachers after job or on the job during the period of specializing. In the third parts it analyzes the problems existing hi the procession of the specialization of the primary and middle schools teachers in our nation, which about the contest of teachers theovic specialization ability, the academic knowledge and the mayor ability of practicing new curriculumn, and also about their specialty spirit, unadaptable to the demand of curriculumn reform and low ability of developing their major initiatively. Based on those researches, in this part; it poses the efficient way to raise the specialization standard of the teachers on job, and elaborates the connatation and meaning of the school base teaching and research. In the forth part, it poses out that action research is the suitable way to the teaching and research in primary and middle school teachers, which is specially valuable to the educational statement study formed in the teaching practise in light of the characteristics of teaching study. In the fifth part, it researches and analyzes the situation of the development of school base teaching and research in the four primary and middle school in Lanzhou, and summarize the main existing problems and reasons. In the sixth part, based on the analysis and research ahead, and from the two aspects mat and teachers initiatively strength their self-cultivation and schools create a fine environment, it offers some practical ideas and suggestions to the development of school base teaching and research in primary and middle schools.
