The credit system, which derived from liberal education in United States, has been quickly and widely adopted all over the world for the reason that it lays stress on developing students' self-study ability and individuality Since its birth in 1872. The credit system has been becoming the most important trend of Chinese higher educational reforms in the 21st century and becoming focus that all circles pay close attention to. China, as a country with a large number of institutions of higher education has been promoting the credit system reform in a creative manner and achieved some experience and success, the credit system play an important role in advancing the development of high educational career in our country and meeting the need of social economy and scientific development for talents. The practice that foreign and domestic universities adopt credit system certifies that credit system is a good teaching management for educating creative talent, which behavior is to teach students in accordance with their aptitude and develop students' personality.With the deepening of new higher education reform in our country, the demand on university's teaching management system reform is prominent day by day. How to innovate traditional teaching management mode effectively to meet the requirements for talent's overall qualities in the future and implement interdisciplinary and interschool cultivation? How to meet the needs for higher education popularization to put current limited higher education resource to rational use? How to bring into play the initiative of teachers and students fully? How to make higher education develop in the internationalized direction? All these problems have already become important subjects that should be solved immediately. The key to these problems lies in reform and perfection of universities' teaching management system. So it is urgent to reform Chinese higher educational teaching management system and implement real, flexible, rich and elastic credit system management model. This thesis analyses Chinese current practice of teaching management of the credit system. At the same time, using valuable experience of the credit system in some foreign country for reference and summarizing the creditsystem in domestic universities, this thesis discuss on the teaching management model of higher education in our country, put forward proposal for the construction of a model specific to the Chinese higher educational teaching management through exploratory thinking and study. And considering specific condition of our country and school, a new thought of higher educational teaching management is advanced to make the higher education in our country .
