E-Education lays us out bright blueprint for future education. Although it has developed greatly in recent years in our country, e-Education is still at the elementary phase seen from the whole developing level of the world. At present there are many problems in e-Education which need to be solved. Knowledge management (KM), which is a new kind of management theory, may solve many problems existing in e-Education. So the thesis claims that the theory, methods and strategies of KM should be introduced to e-Education to promote the deeper development of e-Education.Based on the meaning and basic theory of KM. the thesis studies the application of KM in e-Education from the view of problem solution. Through investigation, summarization, deduction and document analysis, the thesis puts forward the solutions by utilizing the theory and methods of KM, fully exploiting possibility and facility of IT on the basis of modern theory, achievements of the previous researchers and present problems.The first part explains the research background, reasons why the research is done, status quo, the significance and methods of the research.On the basis of documents analysis, the second part studies the meaning and basic theory of KM. First it analyzes the theory of KM, then it discusses the KM strategies and principles, the tools of KM and the differences and relations of KM and close notions especially information management and manpower resource management.The third part deals with the relationship of e-Education and KM. this part first analyzes the meaning and characteristics ,then discusses the value of the utilization of KM in e-Education under the present problems, at last studies the main content and keystone of KM.Aiming at the problems which exist in construction of education resource warehouse, cultivation of students' creativity and the share of teachers' professional knowledge, the fourth part puts forward the concrete strategies by which KM is applied to e-Education. This part includes three segements. Based on the basic theory and method of KM the first segment puts forward feasible scheme on construction ofeducation resource warehouse, focusing on some problems existing in education resource. The second segement studies KM on students and emphasizes that applying KM is an important means to cultivate the creative persons, and bring forward the concrete strategies and procedure. The third segement studies KM on teachers, analyzing the contents of teachers' recessive knowledge and emphasizing that the share of recessive knowledge is keystone of KM on teachers, which helps to solve the negative effects resulting from the lack of teacher and the mobility of personnel. The PKM on teachers not only promotes teachers' ability, but also brings.convenience to other teachers to share their experience and knowledge.The fifth part draws the conclusions that the study has made some achievements meanwhile there are still some limitations in the research.
