Since the 20th century, science and technology in the human society has beendeveloping rapidly. Material civilization is progressing unprecedentedly togetherwith the serious damage to the environment on which persons rely for existence aswell as the threat of human beings' existence and development. Since as early as1980s, people in our country have paid much attention to the problem ofenvironmental protection. However, being affected by utilitarianism, theenvironmental problems in our country remain very serious. The soil erosion in theYellow River, the sandstorms in the Northwest, the drought and the waterlogging inthe Changjiang River valley etc. have become the bottleneck which restrict theeconomy in China. Speaking of the environmental education in primary school,being affected by the orientation of the examinations to senior high schools anduniversities, the schools are still quite weak in the understanding of the aims ofenviromnental education, seaching the ways of enforcement, the effect evaluationand so on. Our country is a developing country and Shen Zhen is a young Citywhich are lying in a period with rapid development in economy. So how to build upa good relation between developing economy and protecting the environment is a-hundred-plan. As A-hundred-plan must stand on the base of education, how to startenvironment education in primary schools has become a very practical sebject.Therefore, I think it's necessary to examine again the problem of environmentaleducation on primary schools. And schools should go step futher to study theways of environmental education, clear the aims of environmental education andexpand the ways of environmental education. By moral education together withteaching, the monographic education and school courses, the primary schoolsshould make the pupils have a shock in the heart after experiment, observation,comparison and self-examination, and thus realize the great significance inenvironmental protection. Build sense of responsibility and arouse the pursuit ofideals in improving the actual effect of environmental education, create the ways ofevaluation and strengthen the effect of environmental education.
