In the information society, the rapid development of digitalization technology such as multimedia technology, network technology and information highway have greatly influenced all the fields in the society. The concept of being digitalization has been accepted by the society, and new chances have been brought for the reform and development of education. In the information society, the characteristics of modern education are being: information., multimedia, multi-dimensional; high efficiency, high benefits, high quality; for everyone and being lifelong The criterion of person with ability has also changed, he needs not only grasp the prior experiences and knowledge, but also having independent learning ideas and methods to adapt to the information society, being a person with information literacy , which mean that he will be able to gather information, evaluate information, process information, utilize information and develop information creatively.This paper focuses on the current status of teachers' information literacy in advanced vocational college, the characteristics of advanced vocational college education, the demands of information literacy education for the students in advanced vocational college, and it points out that improving the teachers' information literacy is an important method to improve the teaching quality of advanced vocational college. Information literacy education is very important for the modern education, especially for the advanced vocational colleges to train compound, skilled persons. So it is emergent to improve the teachers' information literacy in the advanced vocational college. This paper discusses the ways to improve information literacy for the teachers through self learning in advanced vocational college, mainly studies the ways to improve the teachers' information literacy through educational technology training.Besides introduction and conclusion, this paper includes four chapters.Chapter one analyzes the content of information literacy and the information literacy that teachers must own, points out that the teachers in advanced vocational college should have information literacy in the information society, and points out the specific demands for the teachers' information literacy.Chapter two firstly discusses the necessity of improving the students' information literacy in the advanced vocational college, then discusses the content and curriculum setting of information literacy education, and points out the instructional models and principles of information literacy education in the advanced vocational college.Chapter three introduces how to improve the teachers' information literacy in advanced vocational college, how to meet the challenges in the network age. It also points out that the roles of teachers should be adjusted, discusses how to carry out educational technology training, improve the teachers' information literacy.Chapter four discusses the problems of how to build the school based educational technology training curriculum in advanced vocational college, including the curriculum objectives, content criterion, the series and arrangement of training textbooks, the construction of experiments, the teaching methods of the training and so on.The implementation and perfection of school based educational technology training curriculum in advanced vocational college can make educational technology play its own role in the instruction of advanced vocational college, making more contributions for training more excellent students.
