The Theory And The Research Of Practice About Portfolio Assessment In Biological Education

During the elementary education revolution of China, the assessment for the students is the crucial sector, however, It is still a gap about how to assess the Infant Normal school students properly and how to link up the biology teaching and the elementary education well. The thesis is the study of the portfolio assessment on biology teaching. It is also a study field that most educational assessors are caring about. Since 1980s it has been used in the educational assessment revolution as a new method widely. The reason is that it can record the process of each students, including each detail and active "stories". Therefore, it is an ideal way to assess the students' development, progress, reflection and improvement. Comparing to the pen test and other snapshot way assessment. Portfolio assessment can offer quite rich contents to the teachers , parents and students themselves. It reflects what the students know, what they can do and can not do , what they want to do and what they will obtain.
