This project tries to find out the existences of geography factor during the history teaching through understanding the basic knowledge of history geography. To use the history geography properly is good to promote the communication between the teachers and the students, the students' comprehension about history, the development about experience society and the development in an all-round way about students' abilities. It makes the students pay attention to the arrangement about the basic discipline knowledge and the abilities of analyzing and solving problems by using the discipline knowledge.The researching object of the project is how to make the history geography that is such a macroscopic course system effective in the junior high school history teaching. First, we should elaborate the history geography clearly, it demands the history teachers have the comprehensive knowledge of history geography, first of all, find out what the history knowledge is and understand the property current situation and development tendency of the modern history geography clearly, and know it is not the simple comprehension of history and geography in Junior High School, on the contrary, it is a dependent and comprehensive science. Next, understand Chinese history and the historical events which relate to geography factors in different periods and express them consciously at any time, and use the proper teaching methods to affect the students well. Finally, according to the teaching practice, we know the methods of expounding how to use history geography and the effects after using them.To use the history geography efficiently in history teaching is a project that is to be developed and researched. It needs our continuous research and effort. However, most of the researchers study the history geography separately or they argue the compound content of the history and the geography in the theory before. Thus the researchers neglect the effect to the students in some aspects. This project tries to find out the existence of the geography factor in history teaching through knowing about the knowledge of history geography. Therefore, history and geography can promote themselves each other and make higher improvement. They put the emphasis on the union of modern education and history research. The researchers seldom do so before.Moreover, during the project we use many methods such as documentary researching, society survey questionnaire, analyze conclusion method, comparison method and so on. When we make a survey and practice during the project, we should go on through practice-register-drawing conclusion in some periods-practice again-conclude. According to analyzing the history geography, the students get to have the talents about history, and make us realize that the history teachers aren't only familiar with and research history textbooks, but also understand history and the space of the history development. If we want to do this, we should study this subject-history harder and harder, and give the students more influences about daily life and activities. Because we have been teaching history in Junior High School, we are able to get the latest reform about junior high school history andthe information exam to the university, we can also change the teaching strategy in time and grasp the development about the history geography, then we can put our new ideas into the history teaching, we may watch the effect during the limited time, and put the overview in the right order so that we can get further effects.
